The Happiness Advantage!

Abraham-Hicks: A Crash Course In Creation

Ten Ways We Hinder the Law of Attraction

"Why isn't the Law of Attraction working for me?"

This cry of frustration is uttered often by people who are learning to consciously create better lives using the Law of Attraction. After spending weeks trying to raise their vibration, focus their minds and bring forth a better reality, they can't understand why they're not seeing results.

Or sometimes they'll see small results which gives them incentive to keep going, but they still don't see improvement where it REALLY counts.

Does this describe you? Have you raised your eyes to the heavens and demanded to know why the Law of Attraction isn't working for you? Or perhaps you've resigned yourself to one of these deadly beliefs:

"It seems to work for other people, but I just can't get it right."

"I must be doomed to failure."

"I knew it wouldn't work, but at least I tried."

"I'm such an idiot; why do I keep getting sucked into these ridiculous schemes?"

"God must really hate me."

Well, wipe those destructive thoughts right out of your mind! Seriously, they won't serve you a bit, though I can understand why you're tempted to believe them - I've been there too!

Here's the good news: the Law of Attraction IS working for you. It works all the time, every time, without exception. If you're not seeing the results you want, the time has come to ask yourself what you're putting out there that is attracting similar energy back into your life.

Before you get angry at me for telling you you're "doing it wrong," please understand that you're probably NOT doing it wrong - but there may be one or two things you're doing that are creating resistance, which slows down your results.

Skim down this list of the most common ways we hinder the Law of Attraction from delivering what we want, and compare them carefully with your own habitual thoughts and feelings:

INDECISION
Do you have a clear vision of exactly what you want? Perhaps you aren't picky, you just want things to be "better" than they are now, whatever that ends up looking like. However, the Universe doesn't want you to settle for "something good," but instead attract EXACTLY what you desire!

What do you desire? Take some time to think about the facets of your life. Think about your job, financial status, relationships, health, body size, vehicle, residence, and more. Are all of these things an accurate reflection of what you would create if you could start over? Make a detailed list of EXACTLY what you want to create for yourself. Write down every tiny aspect you can think of. Then read this list frequently to keep your vision sharp and clear in your mind.

UNWORTHINESS
Do you REALLY believe you deserve the things on your list? What makes you so special that you deserve abundant health, wealth and happiness? That's not a rhetorical question. I'm really asking, what makes you so special? Don't have an answer? How about this: you exist. Someone breathed you into existence and infused you with all these desires, and for what? Why would your desires exist if you weren't meant to experience them?

Until you can understand just how special and unique you truly are, you might resist the abundance and joy the Universe is offering you. Perhaps you feel guilty that others are struggling, so you keep yourself at a lower level so you don't make them feel bad. However, holding yourself back doesn't serve them, or you. Embrace your true worth as a human being and let it be a shining example for all to see. Empower others (and yourself) with the knowledge that they too can create better lives.

DISTRUST
Some of us have a skewed view of the Universe (or God, if that term resonates with you). From an early age, we're taught that we have to comply with certain guidelines and behavioral rules - or else. We see the Universe as some angry force that will deliver a wrath of misery upon us if we do something wrong. It's no surprise that most of us end up feeling like we're walking on eggshells.

We actually EXPECT bad things to happen because we've developed such a negative view of the powers that be. We're afraid to ask for what we really want because we might be viewed as greedy, ungrateful or selfish. We're afraid to hope for something better because we might get a lightning bolt up the wazoo.

How about turning this belief around? We can just as easily believe in a loving Universe, one that wants us to do well, be happy, and feel abundant. Rather than approaching the Universe with the mind-set of a scolded child, why not step forward confidently and joyfully and claim ownership of what is already yours? Believe me, the Universe will applaud you for doing so, and reward you beyond your wildest dreams.

DOUBT
Even if you WANT to believe that the Law of Attraction really works, you might be holding back somewhat to protect yourself from disappointment. If you don't give it your "all," you think it won't hurt so badly when it doesn't work out. However, doubt is like a big old rubber doorstop that prevents the gateway of prosperity from opening. You affirm, you visualize, you get clear, and the gate begins to swing inward, creating a crack through which shimmering golden light shines forth.

You begin to step forward into your glorious new reality, when "bump!," -- oops, never mind, there's a doorstop there and the gap isn't big enough to let you through. Oh well, better luck next time.

Think of FAITH as the oil that keeps the hinges on the gates of prosperity operating smoothly. If you keep the hinges lubricated and the gates free of any obstructions (doubts) - they will swing right open and you'll be dazzled by what you see on the other side.

DISBELIEF
No matter how badly you want something, if you don't believe it's possible, you will resist it. Perhaps you've set some lofty goals for yourself, things that almost seem too good to be true. Perhaps you want to be a millionaire, but you're currently earning $15,000 per year. Or you want to meet your soulmate, but you long ago convinced yourself that he or she doesn't exist. Turning these negative beliefs around is CRUCIAL to attracting your desires!

For every limiting belief you hold, I want you to take a blank sheet of paper and come up with ten reasons why your desires are POSSIBLE. It's important to make the reasons believable and logical. For example, "It's possible for me to become a millionaire because other people have done it, and some of them started with less than what I have now!" Or, "It's possible that my soulmate exists because I simply haven't met every person on the planet yet. He or she might be searching for me even as I search for him/her!"

Keep repeating these reasons to yourself, until you are absolutely CONVINCED that your desires are indeed possible. It may take time, and it will certainly take lots of repetition, but the stronger your belief is, the more likely you are to attract the end result you desire.

DUALITY
Do your day-to-day thoughts, feelings, and actions paint a very different picture than the affirmations and visualizations you project? Are you affirming your financial prosperity while at the same time worrying about your bills? Both realities CANNOT co-exist in your life. Either you're prosperous, or you're not. Either you're successful, or you're not. Either you're healthy, or you're besieged by aches and pains.

At every possible moment, you need to let go of your old reality - even if it means pretending that the symptoms of lack, struggle, and illness do not exist. At the very beginning, it will be a challenge to do this fully, but if you keep at it day after day, repeatedly turning your attention to thoughts of wellness, abundance, and joy, and focusing less on lack, struggle, and illness, you begin to shift your reality to what you focus on the most.

FEAR
Perhaps you're claiming to want something better, but you also fear it on a deeper level. If you want to be a best-selling author but you fear publicity and fame, guess what happens? You resist the formation of such a reality in your life because it makes you uncomfortable. If you want to be financially abundant but you worry about what others would think of you, resistance is woven throughout your desire for more money. In effect, you're asking for something but also pushing it away at the same time.

One good way to overcome these fears is by facing them on paper. Ask yourself how you would handle people who thought poorly of you for being wealthy. "I'd tell them to mind their own business," might be one response, or "Their opinions of me don't affect my life one way or the other" would work nicely also. If you get clear about your fears, you'll realize that most of them are irrational or irrelevant. Even the ones that hold merit, however, can be worked through and your resistance will dissolve in the light of clarity and purpose.

FORCE
You watched the movie, "The Secret," or read a great book about the Law of Attraction, and now you're all fired up! You're SO DETERMINED to change your life that you proceed full steam ahead. You begin religiously reciting affirmations and performing meditations and visualizations and feeling good at every possible opportunity.

After a week or two nothing has happened, so you increase the intensity of your efforts. You start meditating not just for 15 minutes a day, but for two hours a day. Your affirmations become a litany of desperation to make something happen. Still no results, so you work harder, and harder, and HARDER at it - until finally you scream in frustration, utterly exhausted from trying so hard.

Lighten up!

I know, that's easier said than done when you're not happy with your current reality. But seriously, the harder you "try," the worse it's going to get. Back off, relax, and just let it happen when it's going to happen.

The more relaxed and joyful you can be about the process, the more quickly your desires will come forth. Read more about the process of "allowing," and learn how to BE what you're trying to attract. It's a much simpler way to activate the Law of Attraction, and everything will just FLOW smoothly and easily. No force required. Really.

FRUSTRATION
Speaking of frustration - it's yet another way we hinder the Law of Attraction. When we feel frustrated, we emit an unmistakable signal to the Universe that acts as a beacon to attract more situations to be frustrated about!

Remember the importance of FEELING GOOD! Why is it so important? Because of the signal it puts out to the Universe. The more you feel good, the more you attract situations and experiences that will help you to feel good. I know it's challenging to feel good when things aren't going the way you want, but it's so important to do so anyway!

I don't care if you have to slink off to a private place to be alone with your thoughts, or sit in a movie theater to watch a comedy, or go window shopping on your lunch hour. FIND things that make you feel good, and do them as often as possible. It is so, so, SO important! If you have a few moments of frustration here and there, don't sweat it too much, just do what you can to have MORE moments of feeling good than you do of feeling frustration. It will make an incredible difference.

And finally, the Number One way we hinder the Law of Attraction:

IMPATIENCE
Most of the people I hear uttering the weary cry above (Why isn't the Law of Attraction working for me?) haven't been working at it for long. Perhaps a few weeks, maybe even a few months. Believe me, I know the feeling of desperation to get things moving in a more positive direction, but it takes time!

Remember that we're constantly experiencing a RESIDUAL effect of our PAST thoughts, feelings and beliefs. It's unrealistic (though understandable) to want to change it all overnight. But it's not going to happen that quickly most of the time.

Sure, you might see small improvements here and there, which can make you feel like you're making progress. That's a good thing! Just don't despair if you seem to be moving in slow motion through unpleasant circumstances. You're not crazy, you're not doomed to failure, and you're not a complete idiot. The transition you're going through is completely normal.

Simply do what you can to stay positive and keep up with the activities that will attract something better in the future. Be gentle with yourself, and know that this too shall pass. And in the very near future, when you really begin to see this force shifting the circumstances of your reality before your eyes, WOW - you'll be so glad you stuck with it through the tough spots!

Dr Robert Anthony: How Is Your Life Working Out For You?

Everything that manifests in your life or anybody else's life that you are observing, is nothing more than an indication of your vibrational frequency. It is an INDICATOR. Indicators are manifestations of what you have been doing vibrationally. Period.

So if wonderful things are happening, you are receiving indications of the vibrations you have been sending out. If things have been out of control in your life, then you've got negative manifestations of what you have been offering vibrationally.

Indicators are just that - indicators. You don't want to kill the messenger. You don't go to the gas station when the gas gauge is on empty and lay your head on the steering wheel in utter despair and say, "Oh look at what I have done. The gas gauge is on empty but I kept driving. My life is a mess". The gas gauge is an indicator and you know you have to do something about it. You don't paste a happy face sticker over the gas gauge because it is depressing to see you are on empty. And you don't usually wait until you are completely out of gas and standing on the side of the road. You fill it up don't you?

That's what we are talking about here. We are talking about your indicator that lets you know what your habit of thought has been. And if you have been feeling pretty crummy lately then it is time for a fill up. If things are not going the way you want them to - it's time to change your thoughts about it. It's time to offer some more deliberate thought. It's time to seek a better attitude. It's time to stop blaming yourself and others, stop feeling sorry for yourself and become more positive, even in the smallest way.

Don't blame your "indicator". Instead, train your mind to look for the good things in your life and you will find them.

Truly Caring for Your Success!

Dr. Robert Anthony

The Top 5 Regrets In Life By Those About to Die

To all my readers out there, sorry to bring down the mood on this one, but I believe this post you are about to read will be a life changing article in the way that you see your life and how you are living it at the moment.

This article is written by Bronnie Ware, a palliative care worker who has worked with a countless number of patients who are sadly seeing their last days on earth. When Bronnie had questioned the patients about any regrets they had or anything they would do differently, common themes surfaced again and again. Here are the most common five:

The Top 5 Regrets

1. I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me

This was the most common regret of all. When people realize that their life is almost over and look back clearly on it, it is easy to see how many dreams have gone unfulfilled. Most people have had not honored even a half of their dreams and had to die knowing that it was due to choices they had made, or not made.

It is very important to try and honor at least some of your dreams along the way.

From the moment that you lose your health, it is too late. Health brings a freedom very few realize, until they no longer have it.

2. I wish I didn’t work so hard – This came from every male patient that I nursed. They missed their children’s youth and their partner’s companionship.

Women also spoke of this regret. But as most were from an older generation, many of the female patients had not been breadwinners. All of the men I nursed deeply regretted spending so much of their lives on the treadmill of a work existence. By simplifying your lifestyle and making conscious choices along the way, it is possible to not need the income that you think you do. And by creating more space in your life, you become happier and more open to new opportunities, ones more suited to your new lifestyle.

3. I wish I’d had the courage to express my feelings – Many people suppressed their feelings in order to keep peace with others. Many developed illnesses relating to the bitterness and resentment they carried as a result.

As a result, they settled for a mediocre existence and never became who they were truly capable of becoming.

We cannot control the reactions of others. However, although people may initially react when you change the way you are by speaking honestly, in the end it raises the relationship to a whole new and healthier level. Either that or it releases the unhealthy relationship from your life. Either way, you win.

4. I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends.

Often they would not truly realize the full benefits of old friends until their dying weeks and it was not always possible to track them down. Many had become so caught up in their own lives that they had let golden friendships slip by over the years. There were many deep regrets about not giving friendships the time and effort that they deserved. Everyone misses their friends when they are dying.

It is common for anyone in a busy lifestyle to let friendships slip. But when you are faced with your approaching death, the physical details of life fall away. People do want to get their financial affairs in order if possible. But it is not money or status that holds the true importance for them. They want to get things in order more for the benefit of those they love. Usually though, they are too ill and weary to ever manage this task. It all comes down to love and relationships in the end. That is all that remains in the final weeks, love and relationships.

5. I wish that I had let myself be happier.

This is a surprisingly common one.

Many did not realize until the end that happiness is a choice.

They had stayed stuck in old patterns and habits. The so-called ‘comfort’ of familiarity overflowed into their emotions, as well as their physical lives. Fear of change had them pretending to others, and to their selves, that they were content. When deep within, they longed to laugh properly and have silliness in their life again.

When you are on your deathbed, what others think of you is a long way from your mind. How wonderful to be able to let go and smile again, long before you are dying.

Life is a choice. It is YOUR life. Choose consciously, choose wisely, choose honestly. Choose happiness.

Are You Making These Mistakes in Manifesting?

Knowing that like attracts like, and that everything is energy is all very well. It is however your thoughts and feelings that are the real tools in attracting all you desire.

The impact of thoughts and feelings If everything is energy, either moving in to form, through form, and out of form, then we are all made of the same thing – always moving energy waves. If we are all made of the same thing, we are all connected. If we are all connected, everything I do, think, feel, or say has an impact somewhere on something or someone.

This does not mean we have to become the thought police. It does whoever mean that what we think and feel intensely, and what we do, creates ramifications in the quantum field. Energy is always attracting other energy of the same frequency. So if what we think and feel and do feels good, then this is attracting people, experiences, things that also feel good, creating a positive chain reaction. Likewise if it feels ‘bad’, then we are attracting more people, things, experiences that feel ‘bad’, creating a negative chain reaction.

This is why people say, “things always happen in 3’s”. If you have a strong negative experience, then you tend to be sending out thoughts and emotions that attract more experiences of the same frequency – more negative experiences. A stubbed toe is followed by an argument with a spouse which is followed by a flat tire. The worst part is, that without awareness of the impact of thoughts and feelings, each of these incidents tends to compound the thoughts and feelings of the individual, spinning to worse and worse experiences, creating ‘a really bad day’.

Good vs. bad thoughts and feelings Shakespeare had it almost right. He said:

“There is nothing in heaven or earth that is good or bad that thinking makes it so.”

This is really a two-part truth disguised in one sentence. The two- part truth is this: “there is nothing in heaven or earth that thinking makes it so” – i.e. nothing exists until it is thought.

“there is nothing in heaven or earth that is good or bad that thinking makes it so” – whatever you think is neither good or bad – it is your interpretation of information gathered by your human receptor machine and what you decide is pleasant or unpleasant that makes it so.

So the truth about thoughts and feelings are:

Truth 1: Nothing exists without thought. Truth 2: Nothing is good or bad – there are only interpretations. You decide if they are pleasant or unpleasant.

So avoid these pitfalls: Avoid judging your experiences as 'bad' or 'good'. Don't worry about being the 'thought police' - focus instead on feeling good. Not only will you feel great, you will be in vibrational alignment with your true desires and intentions.

How All This Happiness & Positivity Shit Can Really Change Your Life

34 Little Ideas To Live A Remarkable Life!

Today we feature 34 ways that you can be remarkable. This here is a great little guide to remind us that we are all unique in our own little way and that it is so important in life to remember how boring it is to slip into mediocrity. We all do it from time to time and find ourselves all living a little less or giving a little less.

The #1 Guide On Being A Remarkable Human Being

• Live Your Own Life
There is nothing remarkable about someone who is constantly trying to be like other people. Be yourself and be the best you that you can possibly be.

• Be Authentic

Mean the things you say and do. Authenticity is not very common these days but when it is there, it shines through your words and actions and is very powerful for creating bonds with others.

• Come Up With Your Own Sayings

Come up with your own quirky and original sayings. People will take notice and it may even catch on. By coming up with your own original sayings you stand out from everyone else who just uses clichés.

• Leave Others Better Than You Found Them
Make it a habit to leave people in a better state then you found them. Happier, healthier, stronger, wealthier. This is a major way of being remarkable.

• Help People Without Wanting Anything In Return
Volunteer to help other people out. Give some of your time, money or resources to help a fellow human being and expect absolutely nothing in return.

• Don’t Try To Be Perfect

Be creative and abstract instead of trying to live up to other people’s expectation of perfect. You can achieve great and beautiful things without them living up to the general consensus of perfect.

• Face Your Fears
People who avoid things because they are scared will never be remarkable. Face your fears and conquer them. Do you think Lance Armstrong would have been remarkable if he had given up cycling after he had cancer?

• Take The Plunge

Be that person who does what others won’t do. If others are too scared to attempt something that you are not scared to do, just go out and do it with all your passion and energy.

• Question The Norm
Just because something is done by millions of people around the world in a certain way does not mean it is the right or the only way to do something. Question the norm and don’t be afraid to do something differently.

• Expose Yourself

Get up on stage or in front of people. Risk putting your ideas and creativity out in public, available for criticism and humiliation. What if Jay Z would have been to scared to perform in public and kept all his talent and art to himself in his basement?

• Start Your Own Tribe
Be a leader instead of a follower. Build up a community or tribe of like minded people who will follow you and use your power to make a difference for the better in this world.

• Say NO To Things
If something goes against your principles or you don’t really want it, say NO. You might risk offending some people, but most will respect you for having strong boundaries and sticking to them.

• You Are Enough
Have the mindset that you have all the assets to be remarkable. You have talent and you have a gift. Share it with the world.

• Be Optimistic

Optimism and smiles are contagious. Make the world a happy and positive place.

• Be Confident
Know what you want and be confident that you are going to get it. I think that all remarkable people share the trait of confidence.

• Be Humble
Arrogance and vanity are not traits to associate with people you respect and think highly of. No matter how good, famous or wealthy you are, stay humble with both feet on the ground.

• Create something that brings joy to other people’s lives
Art, a painting, a video clip, a film, a song, a poem, a book and so on and so forth. Be artistic and express your talent in a form that it can be shared with everyone without the expectation of getting rich from it. It’s your gift to the world.

• Invent something that everyone needs
The disposable razor or a cigarette lighter for example. There could be one little thing that seems so simple yet will make the lives of millions of people so much easier.

• Take something that works and make it better
The Japanese are pretty good at this. They took a normal train and change it into the fastest train in the world (bullet train). Take a normal and existing concept and make an exceptional change to it.

• Start a movement
People look for a leader, someone who takes charge and takes initiative. Someone who has good intentions and wants to make a big change for the better. Be that leader and start a movement to change something that is not right in this world.

• Fight for peace and freedom

All around the world there is so much unnecessary war and suffering. It seems impossible for one person to make a difference, but if everyone thinks like that, things will never change. Stop a war or change violent policies of a country and you will be remarkable.

• Preserve our planet
Rainforests are being destroyed, species wiped out, oceans overfished and beautiful ecosystems perish. Make a difference and start a movement to do something about the destruction of our planet.

• Help the hungry
There are so many people dying of hunger all around the world every single day. Do something to make a lasting difference. One idea I had was to get every person travelling on a plane to forfeit their meal for the hungry. A combined effort by all passengers would result in thousands of meals a day that could be given to hungry people all across the world.

• Push the limits (break a record)
If you can do something that nobody else has been able to achieve, then you will not only get noticed but you will certainly be remarkable. You may just be the psychological inspiration for many others to get past the level that was always thought of as unbreakable.

• Revolutionize an industry
Waltz into an industry or niche with a great idea or new perspective and put that idea in motion. If you can improve or revolutionize the way an entire industry does something then you are pretty remarkable.

• Tell Compelling Stories

Stories are an amazing way to share knowledge and experiences with others. If you know how to create compelling and fun stories, you can make a big impact on the lives of others. That’s remarkable.

• Think Better
Be a step ahead of everyone else. Think faster, better or more efficiently.

• Read More Interesting Things
The more you read, the more you shape your personality. The more interesting things that you read, the more likely you are to become an interesting (and remarkable) person.

One requirement of being remarkable is that you are not boring. Be original, fun and get things done.

• Stop Making Excuses
Either do something or don’t do it at all. Don’t be someone who always has excuses to stall doing something or justify why you didn’t do something.

• Never Settle For Average
Never be content with average or mediocrity. When other people give up and settle, carry on going and be better than them.

• Do What You Say
If people can rely on you and they know that when you say something that you will do it, you are well on your way to being remarkable. If you make a promise, keep it.

• Don’t Aim To Be Remarkable

As contradictory as it sounds, most remarkable people never set out to be remarkable. They did what they loved and were really passionate and that is what got them to being remarkable.

• Gimmicks Fade
What’s fashionable soon becomes unfashionable. While you might be remarkable for a time, if you don’t reinvest and reinvent, you won’t be for long. Instead of resting on your laurels, you must commit to being remarkable again quite soon.

This is what Seth Godin wrote about being remarkable:

“Remarkability lies in the edges. The biggest, fastest, slowest, richest, easiest, most difficult. It doesn’t always matter which edge, more that you’re at (or beyond) the edge.

• Not everyone appreciates your efforts to be remarkable. In fact, most people don’t. So what? Most people are ostriches, heads in the sand, unable to help you anyway. Your goal isn’t to please everyone. Your goal is to please those that actually speak up, spread the word, buy new things or hire the talented.

There is a difference between being remarkable and between being noticed. For instance, running down the street naked will get you noticed but it certainly doesn’t make you remarkable. However, if you were to run naked down the street of big cities all across the world to raise money for the homeless, then you may have a very good chance at being remarkable."

Abraham-Hicks: Just Get Happy :-)

"Being happy is the cornerstone of all that you are! Nothing is more important than that you feel good! And you have absolute and utter control about that because you can choose the thought that makes you worry or the thought that makes you happy; the things that thrill you, or the things that worry you. You have the choice in every moment." - Abraham-Hicks

How To Clean Up Your Thought Patterns

6 Things We Can Learn From Olympians

The Olympic Games are always a spectacle to behold. Every four years we get a new set of summer and winter games where the best athletes in the entire world come together in the spirit of competition to determine who the best in the world are. The Olympics are always a spectacle that brings with it quite a bit of fanfare.

Watching the best athletes our countries have to offer can be very exciting, but aside from the Olympics being great entertainment, it is also something that teaches us many life lessons. The Olympians themselves embody many of the best characteristics of humanity. Looking at some of the greatest moments from Olympics past will allow us to learn many valuable life lessons. We are going to take a look at six things that can be learned from Olympians.

1. No Guts, No Glory
In the Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta during 1996, a wrestler by the name of Kurt Angle won the gold medal in heavyweight freestyle wrestling. Angle was an incredibly talented wrestler who possessed all of the great skills to be a success in his sport. Taking that into account, it might not seem surprising that Angle was able to win the gold medal for his country.

What makes his story remarkable is the fact that he had broken his neck, fracturing two of his cervical vertebrae, herniating two discs and pulling four muscles in his neck. His neck was in terrible shape going into the Olympics. He rehabbed it for a few months before the competition, but still required injections into his neck in order to be able to compete. Working through the pain and injury, Angle won his trials and went on to face the Iranian Abbas Jadidi in the finals of the competition.

They wrestled to a one-one draw, with both earning only one point in the entirety of their match against one another. Through a judge’s decision Angle was granted the win and thus the Olympic Gold. What we can learn from Angle’s inspirational win is that it takes guts to get what you want out of life. It would have been easy for someone to give up in the face of such a struggle, but when you dig deep and pursue your dreams, you can make great things happen.

2. All Men Are Created Equal
Thankfully in our modern day world, many understand that all men truly are created equal. Things were quite different during the 1936 Olympic Games at Berlin. During this period of history the Nazi regime was in power in Germany, and their leaders were looking to use the Olympic Games to showcase the supposed superiority of the Aryan race.

A young African American man by the name of Jesse Owens wanted to tell another story though. Owens dominated the 1936 games and won four Gold Medals. Despite all the preaching of genetic superiority by the Nazi regime, Jesse Owens incredible performance showcased that all men were created equal. It wasn’t race that determined a man’s ability, it was how hard he was willing to work and push himself.

3. Competition is a Good Thing
The Olympics teaches us the great lesson of how competition is a good thing. In our modern world, many people shy away from competition, because of a fear of failure or of seeing themselves as not good enough. Competition isn’t about the winning and the losing. It does feel great to win the Gold medal for your country, and stand at the top of that podium, but it isn’t the end all be all.

When you compete you push yourself to your limits and look to showcase your abilities as best as you can. Participating in competition in any facet of life pushes you to get better and better. When you shy away from competition you will stagnate and stay inside of your safety zone. Only by pushing yourself will you reach heights that you previously thought unattainable for yourself. Revel in competition and look to become the best you can be.

4. Dedication
If there is one thing that Olympians possess it is dedication. In order to get a spot on an Olympic team, and be chosen to represent your country, you must be extremely dedicated to your sport. Even though the Olympics are only held every four years, it takes so much training and engrossing yourself in the world of your particular sport year-round to stay relevant.

Athletes hone their skills during the years leading up to the Olympic Games, competing in both National and International competitions. They train their tails off for the Olympic moment that they dream of having. We should be so dedicated in our personal lives towards the things we are passionate about.

5. Anything is Possible

In life you can come across things that seem insurmountable. Given the proper levels of determination and the willingness to put aside doubt and believe in yourself, you can achieve just about anything in this world. This concept has been showcased in the Olympics several times. One of the most famous instances of anything being possible in the Olympics is the miracle on the ice in the 1980 Olympic Winter Games.

The Russian men’s hockey team was completely dominant during that era of sports, and no one really gave the fledgling US team a chance of even picking up a medal at the 1980’s games. They believed in themselves though and wanted to give it their all to represent their country. Starting off with a tie game against Sweden, they used their motivated mindsets to rack up several wins.

They played great hockey and just kept winning until they were finally set to meet the might USSR. The USSR were undefeated in their group going into the match and were the odds on favorites to win the Gold. Team USA rallied and managed to defeat them despite all the hype, and even went on to win the Gold after felling the Russians. Miracles do happen, and when you believe in yourself anything is possible.

6. Always Get Back Up
In life you may get knocked down sometimes. Getting knocked down is nothing to be ashamed of. We go through trials in life, and sometimes you are inevitably going to stumble. It is what you do after you fall that is most important and tells the most about your spirit. The famous story of Kerri Strug at the 1996 Atlanta Summer Games is a great Olympic example of getting back up and giving it your all.

It was up to Strug to get the Gold Medal for her gymnastics team with her final two vaults. She needed a great score on at least one of her vaults to secure the medal. On her first vault she didn’t stick the landing and hurt he foot badly. Despite the pain she rose back to her feet and was determined to keep going and win that medal that she so badly wanted.

On basically one leg she performed her vault and stuck the landing. Afterwards she was clearly in pain, and her trainers attended to her. Despite her pain, she went out there and did what she needed to do. Her score came in and it was good enough for her to capture the Gold Medal for her team. It just goes to show you that when you use your willpower to get back up, you can accomplish great things. Don’t let falling be the end of you, no matter what it is you are doing.

Dr Robert Anthony: How to Remove Resistance NOW...‏

Let me give you an example of how the Source Energy that you are can be in conflict with who you are being in the moment. You probably don't want to hear that the Source within you loves your enemies just as much as it loves you because you are so determined that you are justified in not loving them because of what they have done to you.

What I want you to understand is that when you do not love an individual or group of individuals, the problem that is caused is caused by you and the problems it creates comes to you, not to your enemy. When you do this you are out of alignment with Source Energy (gaps closed). To open the gaps you have to find a way to soften up your vibration on those people that have been betraying and mistreating you because even though you may feel utterly justified in the way you feel about their seeming wrongdoing or about their betrayal, you are punishing yourself.

When you focus on anyone in an attitude of anything that is less than the pure, you split your vibrational pattern and it feels like negative emotion to you. And if you keep it up, you experience a stronger indication of discord.

So the first indication of vibrational discord or resistance between who you really are and who you are being in the moment is the feeling of negative emotion. The first indication of alignment is positive emotion. These emotions are your indications that you are in alignment or out of alignment with who you really are.

In other words, when you "get it" that you have this supreme guidance that is giving you feedback in every moment and that everything that manifests in your life is nothing more than an indication of your current vibrational stance, then you can come to realize if you are experiencing manifestations that are not pleasing, you must change the vibration that is emanating from you or the indicator can't change. The indicator will remain the same until you change your thought and vibrational energy.

Positive Thinking For Success

Thinking positively instead of negatively can make the difference between success and failure in any part of our lives.

The mind finds what it is looking for.

If we have a positive outlook we expect good things to happen to us...we anticipate happiness, joy, good health, and a positive outcome to every situation.

A lot of people think that searching for a positive attitude is a lot of bunk but the idea is gaining more popularity as more and more books are written, lectures are given and courses are offered that support the positive attitude theory.

You’ve said to others and been told yourself to "Think positive", haven’t you? Most people don’t take the works seriously because they don’t understand what it really means and don’t consider it to be useful of practical advice about a given situation.... it is. A positive attitude brings brightness to your eyes, gives you more energy and makes happiness shine from your whole being. It broadcasts good will, happiness and success.

Even health is affected in a beneficial way. A positive attitude makes you walk tall and your voice is more powerful. Your body language shows the way you feel inside.

So, how does one acquire this positive attitude? Do you just have to be born with it? No, one doesn’t have to be born with it. It’s possible to learn how to have a positive attitude and to gain all the benefits that a positive attitude will provide.

You just need to be willing to work at it if you didn’t inherit the gene.

Lose that negative attitude that keeps whispering..."it won’t work". It WILL work.

Warmly
Richard
